Expertise
Whether you are a qualifying practitioner, a new social worker or psychotherapist, a highly experienced clinician, or a manager/supervisor of mental health services (who may hold supervisory, policy or organizational change responsibilities), Heather is able to meet you where you are at in your professional practice journey. Heather has been providing clinical supervision to social workers and psychotherapists from a range of clinical expertise backgrounds since 2012.
Heather values creating a space of safety and mutual respect to invite opportunities to explore and deepen your growth as a professional. Heather can support with developing skills with various treatment modalities, while holding and adapting care to best honour the intersectional identities of clients. This has included adapting care models to be culturally relevant and responsive, gender and sexuality affirming, neuro-affirming, affirming of faith/spiritual backgrounds and experiences of disability.
