About Heather
Heather is a warm, skillful and engaging Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor who runs a focused practice providing psychotherapy to children, youth, families and adults within Ontario. Heather also supports emerging and experienced mental health professionals through clinical supervision. Heather considers it to be the greatest privilege to be invited to join in a client or supervisee's personal or professional journey.
Heather is humbled daily not only by the two small humans she is raising with her partner, but also her role serving children, youth and families in system mental health work impacting schools across the province with School Mental Health Ontario. Heather is an approved practicum supervisor with Yorkville University.
Heather deeply values creating a sense of safety in the relationships she cultivates with all clients. In therapeutic work, this creates a foundation of trust for self-exploration and reflection, all while working toward goals for self and/or loved ones in counselling. In supervision, this safety can support the exploration of the hopes, fears and opportunities connected to our practice and our futures as registered professionals in the service of others.
